Sinopsis

'Los Minions' llevan en la Tierra desde el principio de los tiempos. Empezaron siendo organismos amarillos unicelulares que evolucionaron a través del tiempo, y poniéndose siempre al servicio del malo más malo para servirle sin condiciones. Pero... el problema no era encontrar un amo, sino conservarlo, y ante su incapacidad para mantener a esos amos – desde el T. Rex a Napoleón –, los Minions acaban encontrándose solos y se deprimen. Cuando parece que no quedan villanos en el mundo, uno de ellos, llamado Kevin, tiene un plan, y acompañado de Bob y Stuart, emprenden un viaje para encontrar a alguien a quien servir en donde encontrarán a la villana Scarlett Overkill. Los minions tendrán que enfrentarse entonces a su mayor reto: salvar a toda su frenética raza de la aniquilación.
