Al mismo tiempo tenemos relaciones con el mundo científico-universitario llevando a cabo proyectos de investigación junto con departamentos de la Universidad de Burgos.




The experience of our team members of ARQUEO S.C. has been gained thanks to two systematic excavation projects which are the most important not only as national level but also at an international one: archaeopalaeontological excavations in the Sierra of Atapuerca (Burgos) and archaeopalaeontological Excavations in Pinilla del Valle (Madrid) sites. Likewise, a serie of monitoring directions and excavations related to Civic Works (buil-ding of roads, tunnels, aqueducts, etc.) are carried out as well.

Although archaeology and palaeontology are two worlds apart and they are sometimes confronted, AQUEO S.C. thinks they are compatible with each other. Putting into practice our academic knowledge, incorporating technological resources and appropriate human resources, we can establish a protocole and a methodology valid for each of the monitoring works and archaeological rescue for the past and future archaeopalaeontological works. Thus, we are capable of offering a work of quality to our clients.

Our staff personnel is integrated by professionals of different scientific fields ranging from biologist, restorer to geologist and arch-aeologist experts on different ages, both prehistoric and historical.

Also, we are in touch with the university-scientific field carrying out projects of investigation in co-operation with the Burgos University departments.
